Complexation plays a vital role in drug development as a means of modifying the pharmacological, toxicological and physico-chemical properties of drugs. In this study, Copper (II) and Silver (I) complexes of cefuroxime were synthesized by solvent free technique (mechanochemical). The complexes were characterized by physico-chemical methods such as infrared, UV/Visible, elemental analysis, melting point, solubility and conductivity. Based on the results obtained, the complexes were proposed to have the formula [Cu(CFU)2H2O] and [Ag(CFU)NO3] where CFU stand for cefuroxime. The antimicrobial activities of the synthesized complexes were tested using disc diffusion method, against different strains of bacteria such as Strepto coccus pneumonia, Bacillus subtillus, Salmonella typhi, Klebsiella pnuemoniae, Escherichia coli, Methicillinresistance staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) ,Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphlylococcus aureus. It has been observed that the complexes have higher activity than the free ligand. The IR spectral data indicates that CFU coordinate to the metal ion through v(COO), v(C=O) and oxygen atom of water molecule. The melting point, colour and electronic spectra of the complexes were different from that of the ligand, which suggest formation of coordination compounds.

Ghana kalpana is the most commonly used medicinal preparation mentioned in Sharangdhar Samhita. It is derivatives (upakalpana ) of kwatha kalpana consists of extractive form of kwatha which again reheated to get solid mass called as Ghana. Guduchi (tinospora cardifolia ) comes under mrudu dravyas for the kwath prepration of mruda dravya propertion of dravya and water should be 1:4 as per literature. In present study 4 batches of Guduchi Ghan was prepared. out of these 4 batches, in 3 batches Bharad Churna of Guduchi stems was used and remaining one was prepared with fresh Guduchi stems. To assess the effect of quantity of water on the yield of ghan, different water proportions i.e.,16 times ,8 times, 4 times, was used for Kwatha preparation Guduchi Ghana Nirman . The Analytical tests of all four batches were performed quantitatively. The water proportion of Kwatha is directly proportional to Ghana Nirman but there is significant difference in Alkaloids percentage of in different batches found after analytical study. So the present research work will provide detail scientific data for future researcher. The detail observation, result and conclusion of this research work is explained in this research article.

This paper represents a DC load getting supply from a hybrid system. This hybrid system is made up of two systems that are PV generator and a WT generator is set up by a turbine and a PMSG, a 3-? uncontrolled rectifier and a DC-DC buck-boost power converter committed for both source of systems with a controller that is commanded by the method of FLC. The moto of controller is to extract as much as power it can extract from each source. The FLC was used in the MPPT to withdraw the desired amount of power from these systems. This maximum power will be extracted from the input parameters such as (radiation, temperature and wind speed). This system also consists of the bi-directional converter and battery storage bank to divert the excess amount of power to the battery and to again divert it toward to the DC load side. This system is modelled and simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK.

In a wind energy system that is connected into the grid, this study examines ways to enhance power quality for efficient power transfer. The technology converts wind energy using a farm of renewable energy sources. The production of renewable farm energy sources and AC loads frequently disturb the system. Reactive power imbalance results from this, leading to problems with voltage instability and power quality. A static synchronous compensator or other variable reactive power source can be used to close this gap. The outcome will depend on the wind system fault that was caused, which will be classified and controlled by STATCOM.

A structured questionnaire was designed with 40 items developed by the researchers was used to collect data. A survey research design was used for the study. The 120 copies of the questionnaire were administered on the respondents with the help of two research assistants. 105 copies of the questionnaire administered were retrieved and analyzed. A total number of 105 respondents comprising of 85 construction professionals and 20 clients were used. Each questionnaire was divided into three categories. Three research questions and three null hypotheses guided the study. Statistical mean was used to analyze the data of the study, standard deviation and t-test were used for the hypotheses and tested at 0.05 level of significance. The findings of the research revealed that; there are green building materials in Nigeria, and green building materials have been used for building construction in Abuja, even though there are challenges that hinder the application of green building materials for building construction in Nigeria. Based on the findings it was recommended that; government at all level should subsidize the price of green building materials in Nigeria markets in order to make it affordable for clients. Governments should encourage the use of available green building materials for building houses so as to promote their culture and attracts tourists in the country for economic growth. Government should establish Green Building Council to checkmate the compliance of the existing application on green building materials, for adoption and improvement of the available green building materials from which building construction are made.

Obesity is a major health issue in India and it has a deteriorating effect on Respiratory system. We aim to see the effect of obesity on spirometry tests among healthy non smoking North Indian population and including more number of spirometry values. Moreover in India there are very limited interactions seen between obesity and PFT. A cross sectional study was conducted among 60 volunteers (30 male and 30 female) with mean age of 34 yrs. After full medical evaluation, measurement of height and weight and calculation of BMI was done. We divided the subjects into two groups group A and group B according to their BMI. The first group consisted of non-obese subjects with BMI of 18 to 24.9 kg/m2 and the second group consisted of obese subjects with BMI of 30 kg/m2 and above. Subjects underwent spirometry tests on eight outcome measures FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC, PEFR, VC, IRV, ERV, and IC. We found significant differences (p value < 0.05) in all variables except IRV between the obese and non-obese subjects. We highly recommend for using spirometry test for the diagnosis purpose and it would help the physiotherapists to have an evidence based practice.

The covid-19 virus which has become a matter of fear for the whole world today is a dangerous virus. Corona is not actually the name of a virus but the name of an entire virus family and covid-19 is a member of that family. Due to its structure, it has been named corona, the word corona is derived from the English word crown and the external shape of this virus looks like a crown. On the basis of their own research by the scientists of the world behind the origin of covid-19, almost all scientists are unanimous that this virus originated from a market selling sea creatures in the Chinese city of Wuhan. The market which is known for illegal trade of wild animals like snakes, rats, bats etc. According to the Youth Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the corona virus is a group of coronaviruses that are commonly found in animals. This virus affects the body by reaching the human body by living with animals or by eating animal flesh. After spreading in the city of Wuhan, this virus has shown its effect in 210 countries all over the world. In view of its magnitude, Corona was declared a global pandemic on 11 March 2020 by the World Health Organization. During this epidemic, within 34 days, 14 new words related to corona virus were introduced to the people by the Merriam Venster dictionary such as covid-19, community spread, contract tracing (contact search), social distancing (social gap), Super spreader (large spreader), index case (first episode), index patient (first patient), patient zero (original patient), self-quarantine , social distancing etc. Out of these, only 3 words have been selected by the Oxford English Dictionary, the main ones being covid-19, Social Distancing and Self-Quarantine. As of 30 March 2020, the number of corona positive cases in the world was more than 7 lakhs and about 364050 people had recovered. While the recovery rate was very good.
