In Aquaculture and Fisheries production of food is important with nutritional security. Developing aquaculture increase the demand of good quality food production. Usually in aquaculture fishmeal is used as feed but due to cost-effectiveness and availability animal protein-based fish feed are not convenient to fish farmers. So, its a need of time that aquaculture industry shift towards plant-based feed formulation with having easily available natural sources. In feed formulation consideration of availability of feed formulation ingredients and cost-effectiveness and rich protein content these are most essential part of formulation. In present feed formulation all these points are considered and feed is formulated. Present feed formulation aquaculture (moringa oleifera) leaves were used as main ingredient along with some other ingredients which are also rich in protein. Moringa leaves are rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals and easily available tropical and subtropical region. The fish feed was accepted by fishes and simply consumed.

The present investigation aimed to develop standard protocol for in vitro propagation of Salvadora persica L. It is one of the important medicinal plants belongs to family salvadoraceae. Nodal segment explants were inoculated using MS medium along with various concentration of growth hormone. The regeneration of multiple shooting was achieved on MS medium along with 0.5 mg/L of IBA in combination of various concentrations of BAP and KIN. The maximum percentage of regeneration and maximum length of shoot were recorded on 0.5 mg/L of IBA in combination of 2.0 mg/L and 2.5 mg/L of BAP and KIN using nodal segment explant respectively.

The present research paper studies and analyze the agricultural land use at the macro level in Sangamner tehsil. This study is based on secondary data collected from revenue records and district gazetteer offices. Agricultural landuse was depending on physical, climate, socio-cultural, economic, technological and organizational factors. Endeavour is made to study landuse patterns in Sangamner tehsil of Ahmednagar district for the year 1960-61, this is normal year for an agricultural phenomenon. The study region covers 135780 hectares of land and has population of 487939 in 170 villages as per the 2011 Census. Sangamner tehsil is located in the western part of Ahmednagar district. Physiography, rainfall, soil, temperature, and drainage influence on agricultural land use pattern in this tehsil. Rainfall varies between 200 to 225 mms. The present study represents a real situation of cropping pattern in Sangamner tehsil and helps planners and agricultural scientist for agricultural planning at the village level.

Biosurfactants are surface active agents produced intracellular / extracellular by microorganisms. The biosurfactants have been reported for similar/better performance in comparison to synthetic surfactants. Their low toxicity, high biodegradability and functional at extreme pH and/or temperature make them green alternative to chemical counterparts. The yeasts, bacteria and some filamentous fungi are capable of producing biosurfactants with different molecular structures. These are generally consisting of fatty acids, glycolipids, lipopeptides, lipopolysaccharides and lipoproteins. Despite of many advantages, biosurfactants have not been fully commercialized due to expensive raw material and low yield. In current studies the efforts are taken to isolate and screen the biosurfactant producing free living diazobacteria followed by optimization of environmental factors for maximum biosurfactant production. The free living diazobacteria isolates were enriched using Burks Nitrogen Free media and screened for biosurfactant production by different techniques viz. hemolysis activity, Drop Collapse test, Oil spreading test and Emulsification Index by E24 % assay. The potent biosurfactant producing diazobacteria isolate was identified with reference to morphology, cultural, biochemical utilization followed by 16S rRNA gene sequencing as Klebsiella singaporensis. On analysing by standard methods, the composition of biosurfactant was found Glycolipid. The higher production of biosurfactant was seen at pH 7.0, 30? C and with 6% inoculum density in 5 days under static conditions. The pre-treated banana peels as a substrate in media had shown higher production of biosurfactant by isolate. The further studies are in progress to identify the biosurfactant using Mass Spectroscopy followed by its different applications for In situ bioremediation.

The phylum Rotifera is the most diverse and dominates the fauna of freshwater bodies. Rotifera is a Phylum of primary freshwater Metazoa. The Nighoj Kund is world-famous for naturally made potholes on the Rock River bed of Kukadi River. This pothole was recorded in the Guinness book of world record. The Kund is located at the Nighoj village, Taluka Parner District Ahmednagar. These potholes are spread on the kukadi river bed up to 3 km long and 10 to 15 Mts., widths and more than 30 Mts., in-depth. The results of the present study show that the Zooplankton Group Rotifers species diversity found from various sites of potholes or Kund water which is belonging to different families such as Asplanchnidae, (01 Specie) Brachionidae, (01 Specie) Trichotriidae (01 Specie) Trichocercidae, (01 Specie) Lecanidae (01 Specie) and Testudinellidae (01 Specie) all the species are belonging to order Ploima and Flosculariaceae. The present study is attempted to find out the diversity of rotifers of Nighoj Potholes (Kund) (M.S.) Parner Taluka Ahamadnagar District (M.S.) India

Presentcommunication deals with some ethno veterinary medicinal uses of 24 plant species. The aim of the study was primarily to evaluate ethno veterinary uses of the plants known to tribals of Toranmal region of Satpuda Mountain. The study area is rich in biodiversity and the tribals of the area possess valuable ethno veterinary knowledge. Conservation of these medicinal plants is needed. Ethno- vetenerical data gathered during botanical exploration of Satpuda region is presented here.
