On the day of Indian Independence, Indian commodity futures market was in symbolic stage. Few regional exchanges were in existence. Commodity futures market was in action without any uniformity of rules and regulations. To improve this condition the Government of India formed several committees and groups e.g. Shroff committee, Dantwala committee, Khusro committee, Kabra committee, Gupta committee etc . These efforts were related to various aspects of Commodity futures market. These efforts changed Indian commodity futures market in a desired shape. As the result of Indian government and entrepreneurial efforts Indian commodity futures market is according to global size and maturity.

Abstract: - Image processing is a method to perform some operations on an image, to get an enhanced image, or to extract some useful information from it. It is a type of signal processing in which the input is an image and the output may be an image or characteristics/features associated with that image. Nowadays, image processing is among the rapidly growing technologies. It forms a core research area within engineering and computer science disciplines too. Fruits are an essential part of the human diet, and their quality plays a significant role in determining their nutritional value. In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in using image-processing techniques to analyze fruit characteristics. This approach has proven to be very useful in the food industry, where it is used to evaluate the quality and ripeness of fruits. The analysis of fruits using image processing techniques involves the use of digital cameras to capture images of the fruits. The images are then processed using specialized software to extract features such as color, size, shape, and texture. The extracted features are then analyzed to determine the quality and ripeness of the fruits. One of the advantages of using image processing techniques to analyze fruits is that it is non-destructive, meaning that the fruits can be analyzed without damaging them. This is particularly useful for analyzing fruits that are difficult to test, such as those with hard skins or that are very delicate. The using image processing techniques is that it is very accurate. The software used to analyze the images can detect even minor differences in the fruits' characteristics, making it possible to identify fruits that are of high quality and ripeness. The use of image processing techniques for fruit analysis is not limited to the food industry. It can also be used in agriculture to monitor the growth and development of fruits. By analyzing the images of the fruits over time, it is possible to determine the best time to harvest them and optimize the growth conditions. There are two types of methods used for image processing namely, analog and digital image processing. Analog image processing can be used for hard copies like printouts and photographs. Image analysts use various fundamentals of interpretation while using these visual techniques. Digital image processing techniques help in manipulation of the digital images by using computers. The three general phases that all types of data have to undergo while using digital techniques are pre-processing, enhancement, and display, information extraction. This paper presents the Computer Vision based technology for fruit quality detection. The use of this technology is increasing in the agriculture and fruit industry. Computer vision systems provide a rapid, economic, hygienic, consistent, and objective assessment. One of the important quality features of fruits is their appearance. Appearance not only influences their market value, preferences, and the choice of the consumer but also their internal quality to a certain extent. In this paper, tomato fruit is used for the result
